I’m looking for an experienced full-stack developer to build the MVP of HelmLog, a SaaS platform designed to be essentially “Carfax for boats.”
HelmLog will give each boat a permanent digital profile where owners can store and track maintenance/service history, engine information and hours, receipts, warranties, manuals, repairs, upgrades, and other important vessel documents. The goal is for this history to stay with the boat throughout its life and help owners maintain their vessels while providing future buyers with a more reliable history of the boat.
The platform will eventually support boat owners, marine dealerships, and service shops, including the ability for qualified businesses to provide verified/certified service records.
The MVP should be a clean, mobile-friendly web application with user accounts, vessel profiles, maintenance/service logs, document and photo uploads, and an admin dashboard. The system should be built on a modern, scalable architecture so additional features, subscriptions, dealer integrations, and mobile applications can be added as HelmLog grows.
I’m looking for a developer who has experience building real SaaS products, not just websites, and ideally someone who can continue working with us as the platform grows
