Heartwarming Jungle Family Children’s Story

I’m looking for a writer who can craft a gentle, heart-warming children’s story set in a lively jungle world. The narrative should centre on the idea of family—how the animals look out for one another and discover that every creature, big or small, has an important place in their shared home.

Target age is early readers, so language needs to be vivid yet simple, with plenty of sensory detail and playful dialogue. Think of the pacing found in classic picture books: roughly 800–1,200 words, broken into clear scenes that an illustrator could easily visualise. While humour and adventure can appear, warmth and emotional connection must lead the way from first paragraph to last.

Deliverables
• A complete, polished manuscript in Word or Google Docs
• A brief note per scene suggesting possible illustration angles (no art required)

I will provide prompt feedback on the outline and a single round of revisions once the full draft is in. If you love weaving heartfelt messages into colourful jungle settings, I’d love to read a short sample or link to similar work when you send your proposal.
