Heartfelt Chinese Kitchen Stories

I’m compiling a series of Chinese-language pieces that celebrate the smells, sounds, and emotions of home cooking. Each story should read like it’s being told by a single home cook who is reliving cherished moments—first attempts at wrapping dumplings, a late-night congee ritual, the quiet care hidden in a parent’s soup. I’m looking for original narratives, not recipe write-ups, so let the food set the scene while the memories carry the heart of the article.

What I need from you
• Several standalone stories written in Chinese, each immersive enough to place the reader right at the family table.
• An emotional, heartfelt tone throughout—make me taste the soy sauce and feel the steam on the window.
• Consistent first-person voice from the same narrator to keep the series cohesive.
• Clean, publication-ready text (no machine translation; native fluency required).
Requirements
Native Chinese speaker (Simplified or Traditional — tell me which you prefer)
Able to read handwritten Chinese (some entries may be cursive or faded)
Comfortable working with scanned images and converting them to PDF
Understanding of cooking terminology and family language
If you love capturing everyday moments and turning them into warm, sensory storytelling, I’d love to read a short sample or outline of one memory you’d develop further.
