I’m launching an online store that will carry well over 100 physical products and I want the entire shopping experience to feel fast, trustworthy, and unmistakably on-brand. The platform will be Shopify, so deep knowledge of Liquid, theme customization, product‐bulk-upload workflows, and Shopify’s native SEO settings is essential. Beyond getting the catalogue online, I also need rock-solid payment, tax, and shipping rules configured so every order can be fulfilled without manual fixes.
Strong conversion rate optimisation is equally important. That means clean information architecture, persuasive product pages, upsell opportunities, abandoned-cart flows, and a checkout that loads in seconds on both mobile and desktop. Page speed targets are sub-3 s with a Google PageSpeed score of 85 +.
To make expectations crystal-clear, here’s what I consider a complete hand-off:
• Custom Shopify theme that mirrors my brand guidelines, is responsive, and passes WCAG AA colour/contrast checks
• Bulk upload (CSV or API) of the initial product set with variants, high-res images, meta data, and collection tags in place
• Fully configured checkout, payment gateways, automated tax, and zone-based shipping rates
• Core on-page SEO: schema markup, meta titles/descriptions, clean URLs, and compressed media
• Speed optimisation: lazy loading, code minification, and image/webP implementation
• Google Analytics 4 and Facebook/Meta Pixel installed and firing correctly for each funnel step
• Written SOP or short Loom walkthrough showing my team how to add new products and manage orders
I’m ready to provide brand assets, product data, and copy as soon as we kick off, and I’m happy to work in milestones—design approval, theme build, catalogue import, then final QA—so you’re never waiting on feedback. If you have recent large-SKU Shopify builds in your portfolio, I’d love to see them.
