Title: 3D Modeling (Fixed Price): Mesh Merge & Head Replacement for 3D Printing
Job Type: Fixed-Price
Budget: $35.00
Project Description:
I am looking for an experienced 3D modeler to modify an existing character mesh for 3D printing. This is a quick digital "kitbash" task that should take a skilled designer very little time.
I will provide two .obj files: one is a dynamic full-body model of a female character (Galatea) in a flying/floating pose, and the second is a separate stylized female head featuring a braided ponytail. Your task is to digitally slice the original head off the body model and replace it with the new braided head.
Key Requirements:
* Watertight & Manifold: The final merged mesh must be a single, solid, and completely watertight model. No open seams, intersecting internal geometry, or holes. It must be 100% error-free and ready to slice.
* Dynamic Hair / Flying Position: The character is in a dynamic flying pose. You must rotate, bend, or repose the new braided ponytail so it sweeps backward dramatically, matching the same "flying" wind direction and movement as the hair on the original body model.
* Natural Proportions: Scale the new head file appropriately so it looks visually balanced and anatomically correct on the body frame.
* Proper Neck Alignment: Blend the neck seam smoothly. The head should be angled naturally to match the dynamic movement and pose of the body file.
* Preserve Hair Detail: The intricate strand details on the braided ponytail must remain crisp. Do not degrade, flatten, or overly decimate the mesh during the merge.
Deliverables: One clean, print-ready .obj or .stl file.
