I’m looking for a seasoned Roblox developer who can turn a “Haystack”-themed simulator concept into a polished, live game. The core loop will centre on resource management and trading rather than the usual crop-click grind: players will gather hay, process it into higher-value products, and trade with NPCs or a dynamic marketplace to climb leaderboards.
Here’s the vision so far
• Genre: Simulator – no obby or tycoon mechanics unless they truly enhance the flow.
• Theme: Haystack / rustic farming vibe with stylised barns, fields and machinery.
• Gameplay focus: resource collection, tiered processing, upgrade paths, and an engaging trading economy that rewards strategic play.
I’ll supply mood-boards, reference games and rough sketches; you’ll own the Roblox Studio work—Lua scripting, UI/UX, datastores, monetisation hooks (GamePasses, DevProducts) and optimisation for mobile. Expect tight, iterative collaboration: we brainstorm together, you push playable builds to a private place, we refine, then publish.
Acceptance criteria
1. Fully functional simulator loop with data persistence.
2. Intuitive interfaces for inventory, upgrades and market trading.
3. At least three distinct hay-derived product tiers to encourage progression.
4. Smooth performance on desktop, tablet and phone.
5. Final game ready for public release, with clear documentation for future updates.
If building a fresh, trading-centric farming simulator excites you, let’s chat and map out the milestones.
