Handwritten Numeric Data Entry

All of my source material is made up of scanned pages that are 100 percent handwritten. Every line contains numerical values—account codes, quantities, dates, and occasional decimals—that must be reproduced exactly inside a clean, well-structured spreadsheet.

Here is what the task involves:
• Read each scanned page carefully and transcribe every number exactly as written (no formatting changes unless a number is clearly a thousands separator or decimal).
• Organise the results into the column layout I will provide before you start.
• Double-check your own work; I will run random spot checks and the final file must be error-free.

Acceptance criteria:
• Every handwritten figure appears in the spreadsheet, in the correct column, matching the original scan character-for-character.
• Zero blank cells where a number exists on the scan.
• File delivered in XLSX format.

A fast keyboard alone won’t be enough; sharp attention to detail and patience with occasionally messy handwriting are essential. If you have experience combining manual review with tools like ABBYY FineReader or Tesseract to speed up verification, mention it when you send the completed file—it’s welcome but not required, accuracy is.
