I have a batch of handwritten notes that need to be transcribed into a clean, well-structured Excel workbook. The data must be entered exactly as written, but with a bit of common-sense checking—spot obvious spelling errors, flag anything you can’t read, and make sure totals or simple calculations line up. I don’t need exhaustive double-entry; moderate validation is all that’s required so I can trust the file without re-checking every cell myself.

You will receive high-resolution scans of the notes and a blank template that shows where each field belongs. Most pages follow the same format: date, name, short description, and amount.

Deliverables
• Completed Excel file populated with every record
• A brief note listing any unclear or ambiguous entries you had to flag

Any recent version of Microsoft Excel is fine. If you can start right away and finish within a week, that would be perfect.
