I have a 50-100 page handwritten manuscript that I need converted into a clear, well-structured Word document. Every word, line break, heading, note, and annotation must be captured faithfully so the final file mirrors the original pages while remaining fully editable.

What I will supply
• High-resolution scans of each manuscript page.
• Any contextual notes I have on abbreviations or difficult lettering.

What I expect back
• A single, neatly formatted .docx file with consistent fonts, paragraph styles, and page breaks matched to the source.
• Spelling and punctuation checked as you go, but without “correcting” the author’s voice or wording.
• Pages numbered to align with the original for easy cross-reference.

Please attach a detailed project proposal explaining
• Your approach to reading and transcribing challenging handwriting.
• The tools or techniques (e.g., Microsoft Word, OCR plus manual cleanup) you intend to use.
• Your projected turnaround time and any milestone you’d set for partial delivery and review.
• The accuracy checks you’ll run before handing over the final file.

I’ll review proposals based on clarity of process, attention to quality control, and realistic scheduling. If something in the scans is unclear, flag it instead of guessing. Let me know how soon you can begin once the materials are shared, and feel free to ask any questions that will help you quote confidently.
