Hands-On Software Developer Needed

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and experienced freelance software developer who communicates fluently in English, responds quickly, and can provide technical assistance to senior team members.

This role is for a hands-on developer who writes real code. We are not looking for no-code or low-code developers.

Requirements

- Strong English communication skills, both spoken and written
- At least 2 years of hands-on software development experience
- Strong programming skills and experience writing, debugging, testing, and maintaining code
- No-code and low-code development experience alone is not sufficient
- Ability to assist senior developers with coding tasks, troubleshooting, and technical problem-solving
- Fast response time and reliable communication
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and professionally
- Proactive attitude, patience, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team

Preferred Qualifications

- Based in the United States, preferably, or elsewhere in North America
- Experience working remotely with distributed teams
- Comfortable working with senior developers and assisting them with daily development tasks
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and GitHub

Responsibilities

- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Assist senior developers with ongoing software development tasks
- Debug code and resolve technical issues
- Help implement new features and improve existing functionality
- Communicate progress, challenges, and solutions promptly
- Follow project requirements, coding standards, and deadlines
- Ask questions when requirements are unclear and provide updates without being asked
