Hand-Drawn Downtown Business Map

I’m looking to commission an AI-assisted illustrated pictorial map of approximately 4–6 downtown blocks. I have an aerial reference and a sample image that shows the artistic style and color palette I’m after. The goal is a hand-drawn tourist map feel with loose ink lines, subtle watercolor washes, and a warm, inviting appearance—not a sterile vector map or photorealistic rendering.

The street layout and building locations should remain accurate enough for visitors to navigate, but I’m open to artistic interpretation. Businesses should be the primary focus and can be embellished to stand out, while residential or less important buildings may be simplified if it improves the overall composition.

I’m looking for someone with experience in illustrated maps or cartography who can also offer creative suggestions. I’m interested in budget-friendly options and would appreciate recommendations on the best workflow, level of detail, or approach. The final artwork should be 300 DPI at 11×17 inches, with an editable layered source file preferred if practical. Please include examples of similar work if available.
