Halloween Setup & Scare Assistant in Marrickville, Sydney. Must live in Sydney, Australia

$300 for 4 hours' work from 3pm to 7pm on Sat 31st October (Halloween) in Marrickville, Sydney.

I’m turning my Sydney home into a mini horror-movie set this Halloween and need an extra pair of hands for 4 hours to help pull it off. Your main jobs will be to help me arrange some decorations, slip into a horror-movie character costume that I will provide (a simple sack and scary mask that can be worn over your clothes, and join me in giving the neighbourhood kids a good-natured scare as they arrive for treats.
My wife and my son, aged 12, will be assisting.

Here’s the flow of the evening:

Saturday, 31st October

• 3pm: arrive, fine-tune the decorations already on site, and test any lighting or sound effects.
• 4.pm: change into costume. I'll provide — it's a simple sack you can put on over your clothes and a scary mask. Coordinate simple jump-scare spots with me and stay in character while greeting trick-or-treaters.
• 7 pm leave, and I'll take care of everything.

The setting is a private residence, so I’m after someone who can keep things fun and age-appropriate while still giving the kids a thrill (scaring the daylights out of them).

You will be inside in air conditioning, and it's low effort but maximum scare.

You should be reliable, comfortable acting in front of kids, and happy to lend a hand with basic setup and pack-down. If that sounds like you, tell me which character you’d love to play and any experience you’ve had scaring (or entertaining) a crowd.
