I need a CAM specialist who can take the STEP files for our automotive parts and first give me reliable cycle-time estimates so I can quote jobs with confidence. Once a project is awarded, I then need the complete 5-axis tool-paths and post-processed NC code for our Haas UMC-750SS (NGC control, 15 k SS spindle).
We already handle simple 2.5-axis work in OneCNC, but 3-D modelling is not in-house, so your focus will be purely on advanced CAM: efficient roughing and finishing strategies, collision-free simulation, optimal tool selection, and clean posting for the Haas.
Deliverables for each part:
• Cycle-time breakdown and recommended tooling
• Verified 5-axis NC program (Haas post)
• Setup sheet with work offsets, tooling lengths and notes
• Machine-simulation report showing no collisions
Accuracy matters: I compare your quoted cycle time to the actual run; keeping it within about ±10 % is key to ongoing work. Experience with automotive aluminium and mild-steel components, knowledge of adaptive/constant-engagement strategies, and the ability to turn jobs around quickly will put you at the top of the list.
