Guidance on SSAS Tabular & DAX Calculations

Hi,

I'm building a finance semantic model in SQL Server Analysis Services (Tabular) using Visual Studio, with data coming from SAP (journal entries, GL accounts, cost centers, etc.). I'm looking for an experienced freelancer to guide and support me while I build it myself.

Important: I am not looking for someone to build the model for me. I want to do the work hands-on and learn along the way, with you reviewing, explaining, and helping me when I get stuck.

What I need help with:
- Setting up calculation groups for the first time (compatibility level, model settings)
- Scenario: Actual, Budget, Projection, Last Year
- Currency: Transaction, Local, and Group currency (already converted in SAP, stored as separate columns)
- Time Intelligence: Period, YTD, Full Year
- Variance: Actual vs. Budget / Projection / Last Year, Projection vs. Budget, FY variance (absolute and %)
- Precedence, format string expressions, and testing the results
- Reviewing my DAX and model design and suggesting best practices

How I'd like to work:
- Remote screen-sharing sessions (Teams or Zoom), roughly 1-2 hours at a time
- Q&A support between sessions via chat or email
- Estimated effort: [5hours/ weeks]

What I'm looking for:
- Proven experience with SSAS Tabular / Azure Analysis Services and advanced DAX
- Hands-on experience with calculation groups (Visual Studio and/or Tabular Editor)
- Finance / SAP reporting background is a strong plus
- Patient and clear at explanation
