Video Editing Consultant Needed for “Mumbai Flora” — 2-Minute Film

## Project Overview

I am a student and made a video on Mumbsi Flora that is not good enough. I need you to give me references and consulation for editing the video. You may make the video, and I will incorporate your way of showing Mumbai's Flora into my own final video submission. The theme is “Absolute Beauty of Flora in Mumbai.”

I need an experienced video editor or filmmaking consultant to help me develop a professional, cinematic approach for a 2-minute film showcasing the beauty and diversity of Mumbai’s flora.

I have already captured substantial original photographs and video footage of Mumbai’s plants, trees, leaves, flowers, and natural environments. The final film must focus exclusively on the Plant Kingdom.

## Requirements

- **Theme:** Absolute Beauty of Flora in Mumbai.
- **Duration:** 2 minutes MAX.
- **Aspect ratio:** Landscape, 16:9.
- **Footage:** Completely original footage which is supplied by me. NO OTHER MEDIA CAN BE USED. Drone footage, downloaded clips and use of stock footage is STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
- **Subject:** Plants, trees, leaves, flowers, and other forms of flora.

## Scope of Work

I am looking for guidance and assistance with the following, subject to the rules:

1. **Storytelling and structure:** Develop a compelling visual narrative for a 2-minute flora film.
2. **Footage selection:** Help identify the strongest shots and photographs from my existing collection.
3. **Cinematography feedback:** Recommend ways to showcase botanical details, textures, patterns, movement, light, and colour.
4. **Editing strategy:** Suggest shot sequencing, pacing, transitions, and visual continuity.
5. **Colour grading:** Recommend a consistent, natural, cinematic colour palette that preserves the authentic appearance of the plants.
6. **Sound design:** Suggest suitable music, natural ambience, and subtle sound effects, subject to competition rules and licensing requirements.
7. **CapCut workflow:** Provide an organised editing plan that I can implement myself in CapCut Desktop.

## Preferred Freelancer

- Experience in cinematic short films, nature documentaries, environmental films.
- Strong understanding of pacing, colour grading, and sound design.
- Familiarity with CapCut Desktop is preferred (not fully required)
