ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced guest post and link placement sales specialist who can generate leads, conduct outreach, negotiate deals and close paid orders for Wedio.com.
This is not a general lead generation role.
We need someone who already understands the guest post market, knows how SEO agencies and link buyers operate, and can take responsibility for the full outbound sales process.

Wedio.com is an established international platform for filmmakers, photographers, creators and digital professionals.
Unlike many websites selling placements, Wedio is a real editorial brand with substantial organic traffic and an established audience.
Key figures:
Approximately 2.97 million users between 1 January and 22 July 2026
Approximately 440,000 users per month
Approximately 84% of traffic comes from organic search
The top 100 pages generated approximately 973,000 Google Search Console clicks during a six-month period
Ahrefs DR: 56
More than €7,000 in direct placement revenue generated between February and July 2026 without a dedicated salesperson (all Inbound)
One existing client purchased approximately €3,000 across 12 placements
We already know that agencies and advertisers are willing to buy placements. Your job is to turn this proven demand into a scalable outbound sales channel.
WHAT YOU WILL SELL
Our products include:
Contextual link insertions in relevant existing articles
New editorial guest posts with one link
New editorial guest posts with two links
Bulk placement packages
Higher-value placements for selected platform-permitted industries, subject to prior approval
Current rates for new standard clients:
Link insertion: €120
Guest post with one link: €150
Guest post with two links: €200
Selected higher-value verticals have higher rates:
Link insertion: €300
Guest post with one link: €400
Guest post with two links: €600
Bulk discounts are possible within predefined limits but must be approved.
You may not offer unapproved prices, discounts, guarantees or placement terms.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
You will:
Identify qualified SEO agencies, link-building agencies, affiliate companies, digital PR agencies, brands and other relevant buyers
Find the correct decision-makers and contact information
Conduct personalised outreach through approved channels
Follow up consistently with interested prospects
Explain the commercial value of Wedio and its audience
Use approved, page-specific traffic and relevance data when selling placements
Negotiate within the approved rate card
Close orders and collect the required placement details
Maintain an accurate shared sales pipeline
Hand approved orders over to the Wedio team for final review and publication
Provide a short weekly report covering outreach, replies, opportunities and closed revenue
Wedio handles editorial approval, publication and invoicing. You will not need to publish content or make changes to the website.
COMPENSATION
We will begin with a 30-day pilot consisting of:
A $50 fixed-price pilot milestone covering onboarding, an approved prospecting plan, sales activity, pipeline documentation and weekly reporting
25% gross commission on collected net sales revenue from new clients you source and close
Commission on repeat orders from those clients for six months after their first paid order, provided you remain actively involved in managing the account
No earnings ceiling
Commission examples:
€150 guest post = €37.50 gross commission
€200 guest post = €50 gross commission
€400 placement = €100 gross commission
€600 placement = €150 gross commission
€2,000 agency package = €500 gross commission
The 25% commission is calculated before freelancer’s freelancer fees.
Commission is calculated on collected revenue excluding VAT, refunds, discounts and chargebacks.
Existing Wedio customers, existing leads and inbound enquiries are excluded unless explicitly assigned to you in writing.
Commission is paid through Freelancer after the customer’s payment has cleared.
INITIAL PILOT
Our target is at least €1,000 in collected revenue during the first 30 days, combined with a qualified and documented pipeline.
Strong performers can continue in an ongoing role and potentially take responsibility for a larger part of Wedio’s partnership and placement sales.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You should have:
- Documented experience selling guest posts, backlinks, media placements or similar SEO products
- Existing knowledge of SEO agencies, link buyers and affiliate businesses
- Strong written English
- Experience with cold email, LinkedIn outreach or direct agency relationships
- The ability to handle the full process from prospecting to closing
- A commercial mindset and the confidence to protect our pricing
- A structured approach to lead tracking and follow-up
- A willingness to work primarily on performance-based compensation
Experience selling placements to regulated or higher-value industries is an advantage, provided the work is permitted by Freelancer and approved by Wedio.
IMPORTANT BOUNDARIES
You may not:
- Send mass spam or use unapproved automation
- Make false claims about traffic, rankings, indexing or results
- Guarantee SEO performance
- Offer discounts or custom terms without approval
- Contact existing Wedio clients without permission
- Sell placements involving illegal, deceptive, exploitative or otherwise prohibited content
- Commit Wedio to publishing content before editorial approval
All content and advertisers remain subject to final approval by Wedio.
