My GST refund / input-tax credit is stuck and the holding company that collected the tax is refusing to pass the amount on to me.
What I need now is a lawyer who can:
• Examine all GST returns, invoices, correspondence
• Draft and lodge a formal complaint against the GST-holding company with the appropriate jurisdiction (State authority, CBIC or tribunal, as the facts require).
• Follow through with any additional applications, replies or representations that the GST office might demand until the refund is credited to my account.
Please be prepared to reference the latest GST Rules, sections 54 to 56 for refunds, and any circulars that cover delayed credits or misuse of collected GST. Experience arguing similar refund or ITC denials, especially where the collecting entity has withheld funds, will be crucial. I will supply scan copies of returns (GSTR-1, 3B), payment proofs and prior email trails as soon as we agree to proceed.
