# Project: Build a Cricket Team Management App Using No-Code/Low-Code Tools
## Project Overview
I want to build a mobile-friendly cricket team management app for grassroots and weekend cricket teams in India. The goal is to help captains manage match participation, squad selection, payment collection, pending dues, and team coordination in one place.
I prefer a cost-effective no-code/low-code solution such as FlutterFlow, with Firebase or Supabase as the backend. I am open to other suitable tools if they offer better value, scalability, and ease of maintenance.
The app should have a polished, modern UI, simple navigation, and an easy onboarding experience for captains and players.
**Pilot offer:** The first three matches per team will be free to encourage adoption and gather feedback.
## Core MVP Features
### 1. Team Management
* Captains can create a team and invite players through a shareable link.
* Maintain player names, contact details, preferred roles, and payment history.
* Keep onboarding simple so players can join without a complicated registration process.
### 2. Match Creation and Player Availability
* Captains can create matches with date, time, venue, match fee, and other basic details.
* Share match invitations through WhatsApp or a link.
* Players can mark themselves Available, Tentative, or Unavailable.
* Display confirmed availability and remaining squad slots.
### 3. Squad Selection
* Captains can select the final playing XI from available players.
* Support player roles: batter, bowler, all-rounder, and wicketkeeper.
* Allow substitutes and show selected versus available players clearly.
* Availability and final selection must be separate statuses.
### 4. Match Fee and Payment Management
* Set the match fee per player.
* Show each player's payment status: Paid, Pending, Partially Paid, or Waived.
* Track match-wise collections, outstanding amounts, and previous unpaid dues.
* Maintain a player-wise payment history across matches.
* Allow captains to record payments manually as a fallback.
* Show total expected, collected, and outstanding amounts.
* Provide clear payment reminders through shareable WhatsApp messages or links.
### 5. Razorpay Integration — Please Quote Separately
I would like players to pay match fees using UPI through Razorpay, with successful payments automatically reflected against the correct player and match.
Please explain:
* Whether Razorpay can be integrated using the proposed no-code/low-code stack.
* Whether payments can settle directly to individual captains or teams.
* Any merchant onboarding, approval, backend, or marketplace requirements.
* Transaction fees, recurring costs, development effort, and additional timeline.
* How payment verification, failed payments, refunds, and duplicate payment events will be handled.
I do not want the app to hold team funds. Please recommend the simplest compliant payment flow. If direct settlement is not feasible within the initial budget, propose a simpler first-release alternative.
## Future Vision — Display as “Coming Soon”
I want the UI to communicate the broader product vision through attractive Coming Soon sections, without implementing all these features in the MVP.
* **Cricket Nets Discovery:** Find nearby practice facilities, compare prices, and explore available slots.
* **Club Management:** Manage multiple teams, club rosters, membership, and schedules.
* **Club Finance:** Track membership fees, practice costs, equipment expenses, and club balances.
* **Club Calendar and Communication:** Manage events, attendance, announcements, and reminders.
* **Player Engagement:** Positive attendance badges, participation milestones, and reliability indicators.
* **Equipment Management:** Track shared kits, equipment, and other club assets.
Please keep these sections visually consistent with the main app and architect the MVP so future additions remain practical.
## Preferred Technology and Delivery
* Prefer FlutterFlow with Firebase or Supabase, or recommend a more suitable cost-effective alternative.
* Prioritize a shared-codebase approach for Android and iOS.
* Keep the database, authentication, permissions, and backend architecture simple and secure.
* Build a responsive, polished interface with reusable components.
* Ensure captains can manage their teams without accessing other teams' private data.
* Provide a clear path for future Play Store and Apple App Store releases.
## Deliverables
1. Working MVP covering the agreed core features.
2. Android and iOS builds, with assistance for store submission.
3. Configured database, authentication, and backend workflows.
4. Razorpay integration if feasible, separately scoped and quoted.
5. Complete project/source ownership and access to all relevant accounts.
6. Setup documentation and instructions for maintaining the app.
7. Testing of major workflows, including payment and permission scenarios.
8. At least 30 days of post-delivery bug-fix support.
9. Full disclosure of third-party subscriptions, usage limits, and recurring costs.
## Out of Scope for the Initial MVP
Live scoring, player statistics, tournament management, a full cricket-net booking marketplace, advanced accounting, automated WhatsApp Business API messaging, and complex gamification.
## Proposal Requirements
I am looking for a freelancer who can deliver a practical, maintainable product cost-effectively.
Please share:
* Your experience with FlutterFlow or comparable no-code/low-code platforms.
* Relevant apps or working demos you have built.
* Your best competitive quote for the core MVP.
* A separate quote for Razorpay integration.
* An optional quote for the smallest functional pilot version.
* Estimated delivery timeline and what is included or excluded.
* Proposed tech stack, recurring costs, and store-publishing support.
* How you would implement player-wise payment tracking and secure payment verification.
I am open to competitive proposals and welcome suggestions that reduce development cost without compromising essential functionality. Please recommend the most practical approach for launching with real cricket teams quickly.
