BARE IS HIRING — FASHION EDITORIAL GRAPHIC DESIGNER

BARE is looking for a Graphic Designer / Visual Communication Designer who understands fashion, editorial design, visual storytelling and contemporary culture.

We are not looking for someone who only knows how to make Instagram posts.

We are looking for someone who can help build the visual identity of BARE.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As BARE's Graphic Designer, you will work closely with the Editor-in-Chief and creative team on the visual communication of our fashion magazine and its digital platforms.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

• Fashion editorial layouts
• Magazine spreads and typography
• Instagram carousels and social media creatives
• Editorial covers
• Campaign visuals
• Digital magazine assets
• Event creatives and invitations
• Posters and promotional material
• Brand collaborations and sponsored content
• Presentation decks and media kits
• Visual concepts for editorial stories
• Developing and maintaining BARE's visual identity
• Creating design systems, templates and graphic guidelines
• Collaborating with photographers, stylists, writers, models and art directors

WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO

• Has a strong understanding of fashion and fashion communication
• Understands editorial aesthetics and visual storytelling
• Has a good eye for typography, composition, hierarchy and imagery
• Can translate a creative idea into a strong visual concept
• Understands contemporary fashion magazines and visual culture
• Is comfortable working with references, moodboards and creative direction
• Can maintain consistency across print and digital platforms
• Has strong attention to detail
• Can work independently but communicate closely with the team
• Is genuinely interested in fashion, culture, photography and design

REQUIRED SKILLS

Adobe InDesign
Adobe Illustrator
Adobe Photoshop

Knowledge of Figma / After Effects / Premiere Pro is a plus.

EXPERIENCE

Students, recent graduates and emerging designers are welcome to apply.

A strong portfolio matters more to us than years of experience.

Fashion Communication, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fashion Design or related backgrounds are preferred.

WORKING STYLE

This is a remote, part-time role with daily communication.

You will work directly with BARE's Editor-in-Chief and creative team.

We expect:
• Regular daily communication
• Timely responses during agreed working hours
• Participation in creative discussions
• Ability to work around editorial deadlines
• Willingness to take feedback and develop concepts collaboratively

COMPENSATION
