I’m preparing a graduate seminar on ZIF-67/PAN adsorption of methylene blue and need a chemistry specialist who can both explain and illustrate the underlying mechanisms.
Part 1 – Acid-base & adsorption
You’ll provide a clear, literature-grounded discussion of how acidic, neutral and basic media alter ZIF-67/PAN surface charge through protonation and deprotonation. The explanation must connect those shifts to the observed rise in MB uptake at higher pH. Alongside the narrative, I need matching illustrations—digital versions suitable for slides plus hand-sketched versions that reveal your arrow-pushing logic.
Part 2 – MB degradation
Starting from my confirmed intermediate P1, develop step-by-step mechanisms through P11. Show how sulfate radicals (SO₄•⁻) and hydroxyl radicals (•OH) attack MB and successive intermediates, indicating every bond broken or formed and the structural evolution at each stage. Reaction arrows, intermediate structures and concise chemical reasoning are all essential; this must be an original proposal rather than a copy of published graphics.
Deliverables
• Digital and hand-drawn mechanism figures for Parts 1 and 2
• An accompanying write-up (≈2-3 pages) that walks through the chemistry and cites key literature for support
• Editable files (ChemDraw/Illustrator or comparable) plus high-resolution PNG/PDF exports
Timeline & style
The work must be completed within 3–5 days—ASAP is ideal—so I can finalize my seminar. Clarity and accuracy matter more than ornate artwork, but the visuals should still be publication-quality.
If you’re confident with radical pathways, surface chemistry and mechanism illustration, I’m ready to collaborate right away.
