I’m rebuilding the backbone of my application and need an experienced backend specialist to take ownership of the database layer on Google Cloud. The project centres on cloud-based data management rather than general API or server work, so your focus will be schema design, provisioning, and optimisation on the Google Cloud ecosystem.

Here’s what I’m after:
• Analyse my current data requirements and model an efficient, scalable structure.
• Create and provision the chosen Google Cloud database service (Cloud SQL, Firestore or another you recommend) with best-practice security settings.
• Configure automated backups, monitoring and role-based access so the environment is production-ready.
• Deliver clear documentation covering the schema, deployment steps and maintenance routines.
