I run Evidence Based Motion, a mobile personal training business in Sydney, and I’ve recently launched a new small-group personal training service in Balmain.
My goal is straightforward: fill the weekly Balmain group classes with qualified local clients.
I have already built the landing page on my existing website and launched a Google Search campaign, but I’d like an experienced Google Ads / local SEO specialist to review the setup and recommend the best strategy.
Current setup:
Dedicated Balmain landing page on my existing website
Google Search campaign targeting Balmain and nearby Inner West postcodes
Approx. A$25/day starting budget
Exact and phrase-match keywords
Around 30 keywords currently loaded
Core keywords such as “personal trainer”, “personal training”, “small group personal training” and “personal trainer Balmain” are eligible
More specific long-tail Balmain terms are showing low search volume
Conversion tracking is set up for form submissions
Campaign is new and currently has very limited/no impressions
I’m looking for someone who can assess:
Google Ads campaign structure
Keyword selection and match types
Bidding strategy
Location targeting
Negative keywords
Ad copy/assets
Conversion tracking
Landing-page conversion performance
Whether Google Search Partners should be used
How to generate qualified enquiries rather than low-quality traffic
I’d also like advice on the SEO strategy for this new service.
At the moment, the Balmain page is part of my main Evidence Based Motion website. I’d like your opinion on whether I should:
continue building the Balmain service into the SEO of the existing website,
create additional local/service pages supporting it,
create a separate website,
or use another structure entirely.
I am open to investing in SEO and testing new approaches if there is a realistic opportunity to fill these classes organically as well as through paid search.
The key KPI is qualified leads and paid group members — not traffic, clicks or optimisation score alone.
Please include in your quote:
Your recommended approach based on the above.
What you would change first.
Your fee for a one-off Google Ads audit/setup.
Your fee for ongoing Google Ads management, if applicable.
Your pricing for local SEO work.
Examples of results you have achieved for local service businesses, gyms, personal trainers, allied health or similar businesses.
Whether you recommend keeping the Balmain service on the existing website or creating a separate site, and why.
Website: evidencebasedmotion.com
Location: Balmain, Sydney NSW
Initial ad budget: approximately A$25/day
I’m looking for someone who is comfortable challenging the current setup if there is a better way to achieve the objective.
