Glycol & EO/PO Defoamer Formulation

I head R & D at Shree Jalaram Corporation, Ankleshwar, where we already manufacture a full range of silicone and non-silicone antifoams. The next gap in our portfolio is a set of completely new glycol-based and EO/PO-based defoamers aimed primarily at wastewater applications and other general-process industries.

What I need now is a formulator who can take the project from a blank sheet to a production-ready recipe. I will provide access to our current raw-material suppliers, lab equipment, and performance data from competing products; you would contribute the surfactant chemistry know-how, screening methodology, and iterative optimisation.

Key deliverables
• Lab-scale formulations with exact percentages and raw-material grades
• Step-by-step manufacturing procedure that fits our existing reactors and mixers
• QC parameters (viscosity, density, Defoamer Efficiency Index, etc.) and corresponding test methods
• Benchmark report showing performance in wastewater foaming tests versus at least one market reference
• Scale-up guidance to 1 t pilot and full-scale batches, including HSE notes

Once the first formula is proven, we can extend the collaboration to food-grade and paint/ink variants, so I’m looking to build a long-term relationship with a practical, results-driven chemist who understands cost targets as well as performance.
