GIS Developer to Extend an Existing Mapping Platform and API

I have an existing geospatial platform hosted on DigitalOcean, using Docker, PostgreSQL/PostGIS, Directus, Australian road datasets and an existing API.

I want to build on this infrastructure to develop my own geospatial API and an interactive map where I can explore my data, test API functionality and demonstrate the platform to potential business customers.

The project includes:

* Reviewing and improving the existing system and database.
* Building my own API to provide access to available geospatial data.
* Creating an interactive map to visualise data and inspect road features.
* Providing a simple interface to test API requests and view results.
* Assessing how routing and additional mapping services could be integrated.
* Establishing a reliable process for updating datasets and archiving previous versions.

The objective is to turn my existing infrastructure into a functional, demonstrable geospatial platform that I can develop further and eventually offer to other businesses.

I want to reuse the existing infrastructure wherever practical rather than rebuild everything from scratch.
