I want to capture my wife’s childhood and early years in a short, emotional, heart-warming narrative that preserves her authentic voice and highlights the importance of family and relationships throughout her journey.

To make that happen, you will interview her—either in person, by phone, or over Zoom—recording the conversations and guiding them with thoughtful, open-ended questions so the key memories surface naturally. From those sessions you will arrange every event chronologically, shape the material into a lively, engaging manuscript, and keep the wording true to how she speaks.

Deliverables I will need:
• Audio (or video) files of each interview
• A detailed timeline or outline built from the sessions
• First draft of the full story (around short-story length, not a full memoir)
• One round of revisions after our feedback
• Final proofread manuscript in Word and PDF
