TITLE: Gas Safe Register business list – remaining England postcode areas (manual or compliant method, site uses CAPTCHA)
DESCRIPTION:
We need a clean list of Gas Safe registered businesses for the remaining postcode areas of England, taken from the public "Find an engineer" search on the Gas Safe Register website.
We already hold about 29,800 businesses covering 54 postcode areas. We need the missing ~45 areas, mainly London, the South East, the South West and the East (SE, SW, W, WC, KT, CR, GU, RG, OX, MK, BS, EX, PL, SO, PO, CB, CM, CO, IP, NR, ME, TN and others). The full list will be shared with the chosen freelancer.
PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING:
• The site uses a CAPTCHA, and each search shows a maximum of 50 results. Dense areas therefore need searching at postcode-sector level or finer.
• Your method must stay within the website's terms of use. Do NOT use CAPTCHA-solving services or anything that bypasses the site's protections. Bids that do will be declined.
• Manual collection by a data-entry team is welcome. Tell us your team size, the price and the timescale.
FIELDS (one row per business):
Gas Safe registration number (unique key), business name, full address, postcode, phone, email (where shown), number of engineers, sole trader or Ltd, region.
DELIVERABLES:
• One de-duplicated CSV (keyed on registration number), merged with our existing file
• A coverage summary: businesses per postcode area/district
HOW WE'LL AWARD:
1. Shortlisted bidders send a FREE sample of 20 rows from the GU area.
2. The best sample gets a paid test on the full GU area.
3. If the test checks out, the rest of England is awarded.
Fixed price. Please include: your method (how you'll handle the CAPTCHA and the 50-result cap within the site's terms), price for the GU test, price for the full job, and timescale. Bids that don't answer these will be skipped.
