I'm looking for an experienced power electronics engineer to design, build and test a single-phase synchronous buck power stage using GaN FETs.
This is a test vehicle, not a product. The purpose is to measure switching behaviour, losses and temperature at high switching frequency. The scope is deliberately short and well defined.

The work
Single-phase synchronous buck, up to 40 A, outputs at 12 V and 48 V from an 80–120 V bus
Power devices: EPC2305, two in parallel per position
Gate driver: onsemi NCP51820
The design must be based on EPC's EPC90143 development board, extending its schematic and layout to the paralleled devices. EPC publishes the schematic, BOM and Gerber files
Four-layer PCB, with the power loop returned on the first inner layer per EPC's layout guidance
On-board 12 V auxiliary supply from the input bus
PWM and dead time from an off-the-shelf NUCLEO-G474RE board using the STM32G474 HRTIM — no microcontroller section to design
Three inductors, one per test frequency, your own choice of core and construction

Two milestones
Schematic, BOM and inductor design
PCB, assembly, bench testing and dead-time tuning

What I'm looking for
Demonstrated experience with switching converters above 1 kW, and specifically with GaN layout — the power loop geometry is the part of this job that decides whether it works. Please mention any GaN board you've designed.
You'll also need lab access: a DC supply up to 120 V, an oscilloscope with a high-voltage differential probe, and thermocouple measurement.
A full specification is attached. It covers the complete requirements, the test matrix and the deliverables. Please read it before quoting.

In your proposal, please include:
Estimated hours per milestone
How many PCB revisions you've assumed
The lab equipment you have access to, by make and model
A previous GaN or high-frequency converter design you've worked on
