Role Overview:
We are looking for well-connected professionals, founders, business development specialists, consultants, and networkers who can help us identify and introduce relevant investors through their existing professional networks.
As a Fund Scout, you will act as an investor-introduction and referral partner. Your main responsibility is to identify potential investors who may be interested in learning more about a client of Everyware Technology and make a genuine, professional introduction.
This is not a sales or financial advisory role. You are not expected to convince anyone to invest, provide investment advice, negotiate terms, or close an investment. Once a suitable introduction is made, Everyware Technology and/or the client's authorised representatives will take over the investor conversation.
This opportunity is particularly suitable for people who already have strong professional networks, access to founders or investors, or experience in business development, fundraising, consulting, or professional introductions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify relevant investors within your existing professional or business network.
- Assess whether a contact may have a genuine interest in learning more about the client.
- Make a genuine, named introduction between the prospective investor and the client's Founder or designated representative.
- Where required, help the prospective investor with the initial administrative process for accessing the client's investor information portal.
- Share only factual and approved information provided by Everyware Technology or the client.
- Maintain professional communication throughout the introduction process.
- Keep confidential and commercially sensitive information secure.
-Maintain appropriate records of introductions made under the referral arrangement.
What You Will NOT Be Required to Do
To keep the role simple, professional, and clearly defined, Fund Scouts must not:
- Provide financial product advice or recommend that anyone invest in the client of Everyware Technology.
- Give opinions about the suitability, merits, risks, expected returns, valuation, or attractiveness of an investment in the client.
- Negotiate investment terms, valuation, pricing, deal structure, or transaction documents.
- Accept, receive, hold, transfer, or handle investor funds.
- Complete investment applications or sign investment documents on behalf of prospective investors.
- Represent yourself as a financial adviser, broker, authorised representative, investment representative, or agent of the client or Everyware Technology.
- Make promises, guarantees, forecasts, or representations regarding the client's future performance, valuation, returns, fundraising outcome, or investment prospects.
- Conduct substantive investment presentations or discussions beyond factual information specifically approved by Everyware Technology or the client.
- Pressure, persuade, or encourage a prospective investor to invest.
- Present yourself as authorised to provide investment advice or negotiate investment transactions on behalf of the client or Everyware Technology.
Your role is simply to identify relevant people, make appropriate introductions, and allow the authorised representatives to handle the investment discussion.
Who We Are Looking For
You may be a strong fit if you have:
- An established network of investors, founders, entrepreneurs, executives, business owners, family offices, angel investors, or relevant professional contacts.
- Experience in business development, sales networking, fundraising, consulting, recruitment, investor relations, partnerships, or professional introductions.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to identify relevant contacts rather than sending mass or irrelevant introductions.
- A professional approach to handling confidential information.
- An interest in startups, technology, entrepreneurship, or investment ecosystems.
You do not need to be a financial adviser or investment professional. The most important factor is the quality and relevance of your network and your ability to make genuine professional introductions.
