I’m ready to launch an online store that sells physical goods and need a developer who can take the idea from concept to a fully functioning e-commerce site. The core of the build must cover a clean product catalogue, fast product search and filtering, and a reliable shopping-cart / checkout flow.
Here is what I expect:
• A modern, responsive storefront populated with a sample set of products so I can see the flow end-to-end.
• Intuitive search and filter tools that help shoppers narrow results by category, price and any other key attributes you recommend.
• A secure cart and checkout pipeline that supports credit-card and PayPal payments out of the box, with room to add local gateways later.
• Basic admin dashboard for inventory, order tracking and coupon management.
• SEO-friendly structure and speed optimisation so pages load quickly on mobile.
Nice-to-have items such as user reviews can remain optional for now; I’m open to your advice on the best timing and plugin choices. Please outline the platform or stack you prefer (Shopify, WooCommerce, custom React + headless, etc.) and any themes or extensions you’d suggest to stay within a scalable architecture.
When you respond, let me know:
1. A live link to one comparable store you’ve built.
2. Which e-commerce platform you think suits selling physical goods in the long run and why.
3. A rough delivery timeline for a working MVP that includes search/filter and cart.
I’m keen to start as soon as we agree on the approach, so share your plan and let’s get this store online.
