Full Website PHP & Plugin Upgrade

My business site is still running on an older PHP stack and out-of-date plugins. I need the entire installation brought up to PHP 8.1 and every plugin upgraded to their newest stable releases, while keeping the site fully functional throughout the process.

Because I’m not certain whether previous developers added any custom plugins or code tweaks, I’ll need you to audit the installation first, flag anything non-standard, and confirm compatibility before we switch versions. If adjustments or light refactoring are required to make custom code work on PHP 8.1, please include that in the scope.

Deliverables
• Audit report listing core, theme, and plugin versions, plus any custom elements discovered
• Clean backup created before you touch anything
• Successful migration to PHP 8.1 on my hosting environment
• All plugins and the theme updated to their latest stable versions
• Post-upgrade testing confirming that every public-facing page and admin function works as expected
• Short hand-off notes summarising changes and any future maintenance recommendations

I can provide full cPanel/FTP and WordPress admin access. Ideally you have solid experience upgrading WordPress (or similar PHP CMS) sites to PHP 8+, troubleshooting compatibility issues, and rolling out updates with zero downtime.
