I’m looking for someone who can take full ownership of a corporate WordPress site, treating it as an ongoing product rather than a one-off build. On any given day you might be refining the theme to match brand guidelines, extending or writing a custom plugin to introduce new functionality, and keeping pages fresh with well-structured content.
Because the site will evolve, I’m open to any theme or plugin stack you feel is the best fit. If a clean slate with Block Themes, Elementor, or Oxygen makes sense, great—if you’d rather build on a respected premium framework, I’m happy to back that decision as long as performance and maintainability stay front and center.
You’ll be working full-time, so proactive communication, clear commits in Git, and a habit of documenting your changes are essential. I expect pixel-perfect front-end work (HTML5, CSS/Sass, JS), solid PHP for the back end, and a keen eye on loading speed, security, and SEO best practices.
Deliverables I’ll review weekly:
• Theme adjustments or new templates pushed live without breaking existing pages
• Custom plugin features delivered behind a feature flag, tested and documented
• Updated page content and media optimized for Core Web Vitals
If you thrive on iterating, experimenting, and keeping a polished corporate site at the top of its game, let’s get started.
