Medical Billing Specialist (Full-Time)

And we're looking for a Medical Billing Specialist to start immediately!
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Medical Billing & Claims Management
Handle charge entry, coding, and claim submission.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of claims in compliance with billing regulations and payer requirements.
Maintain billing records and documentation for all submitted claims.
Payment Posting & Insurance Follow-Up
Post payments accurately and reconcile billing transactions.
Work denials and manage insurance follow-ups to resolve outstanding claims.
Investigate claim rejections and coordinate corrective actions for resubmission.
Patient Billing & Account Support
Handle patient statements and other billing-cycle work.
Address billing inquiries and assist with account-related concerns.
Support the overall revenue cycle process to ensure timely collections and accurate account management.
Required Tools
NextGen Billing (experience required)
Qualifications:
Previous medical billing experience.
Experience using NextGen Billing.
Understanding of Medicare Advantage billing and coding.
Familiarity with G-codes and CPT II codes.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and training.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple billing tasks efficiently.
Technical Requirements:
USB Headset with noise-cancellation feature
Working Webcam
Computer with at least 1.8 GHz processor and at least 4GB RAM
Main Internet Service Speed: at least 25 Mbps cable connection
Backup Internet Service Speed: at least 10 Mbps
