Full-Stack Web Booking Platform & Desktop Client (Node.js/React/Electron)
Project Overview
We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Developer or small Development Team to build a specialized, multi-stage appointment booking platform. The project begins with a custom web-based scheduling system (Phase 1) and expands into a native Windows desktop client for meeting automation and session recording (Phase 2).
Tech Stack Requirements
Backend: Node.js, NestJS, PostgreSQL, REST APIs
Frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS
Desktop: Electron (TypeScript)
Integrations: Google Calendar/Meet API, SendGrid/Postmark (Transactional Email), exceljs
Phase 2 Expansion: AWS S3, WebRTC / Audio Processing, WhatsApp Business API, Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM)
Key Qualifications & Competencies
Strong experience with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and data isolation between user accounts.
Proven ability to build performant record-matching engines (indexed database lookups for duplicate checks across emails, phone numbers, and names).
Experience with file processing (parsing/exporting CSV & Excel datasets).
Ability to work directly from detailed written specifications and video walkthroughs.
Scope Overview
Phase 1: Web Booking Engine & Dashboards
Candidate Booking Flow: Interactive rolling-window calendar (today + 3 days), automatic timezone handling (CET, EET, Dhaka), slot blocking (full/half days), and automated Google Meet link generation.
Data Ingestion & Cross-Checking: Admin bulk import system for reference datasets (CSV/Excel) with automated cross-checking against incoming candidate bookings to trigger host notifications.
User & Admin Dashboards: Isolated Host views for slot management alongside an overarching Admin dashboard.
Automated Data Sync: Real-time email notifications and automatic Excel export updates upon booking completion.
Phase 2: Desktop Client & Session Utilities
Native Windows App: Packaged Electron desktop installer downloadable directly from our web portal.
Automated Reminders: Scheduled meeting alerts via WhatsApp and Push Notifications (30 min / 15 min prior).
Session Tools: Background workspace capture (5-second intervals with local compression and AWS S3 upload) and noise-suppressed meeting audio recording.
