We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Next.js Developer to rebuild, modernize, and deploy our luxury private transportation and chauffeur website.
The goal is to replace a legacy WordPress installation with a fast, high-performance web application built using Next.js (App Router) and Tailwind CSS, paired with a lightweight admin CMS/dashboard for content and reservation leads, delivered fully deployed on our Linux VPS.
Scope of Work & Deliverables
1. Public High-End Website
Architecture: Next.js (App Router), TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
Pages & Flow: Replicate and elevate existing site design across core pages: Home, Fleet, Services, About Us, and Booking/Inquiry.
Fleet Showcase: Dynamic vehicle catalog with specs (passenger limits, luggage capacity, class) and optimized image delivery (next/image).
Reservation Inquiry System: Multi-step or clean validated booking form capturing pickup/drop-off locations, dates/times, passenger count, and vehicle choice.
Performance & SEO: Semantic markup, dynamic OpenGraph/meta tags, and a target 90+ score on Google Lighthouse across mobile and desktop.
Responsiveness: Pixel-perfect adaptability across mobile, tablet, and wide screens.
2. Admin CMS & Lead Management
Authentication: Secure admin authentication (credentials/session management).
Fleet & Content CRUD: Intuitive interface to add, edit, or delete fleet vehicles, pricing tiers/specs, and core site content.
Lead / Booking Viewer: Searchable, filterable table to track, review, and manage inbound booking inquiries.
Database: Structured relational schema managed via Prisma ORM (PostgreSQL or SQLite).
3. Production VPS Deployment & Handover
Server Environment: Full production rollout on an Ubuntu Linux VPS.
Runtime & Proxy: Process management via PM2 (or Docker) behind an Nginx reverse proxy with gzip/brotli compression.
Security & SSL: Automated SSL via Let's Encrypt (Certbot) and basic firewall configuration (UFW).
Repository & Docs: Clean Git repository with documented environment variables (.env.example) and a straightforward README for maintenance.
Budget & Payment Milestone
Contract Type: Fixed Price
