Job Title: Senior Full-Stack Developer / Systems Architect (Node.js / React / PostgreSQL)
About Us:
We are a growing healthcare technology company building a high-reliability platform. We are seeking a skilled, autonomous Full-Stack Developer / Systems Architect to partner with our technical leadership in building out core backend workflows and web/mobile interfaces.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Backend Architecture: Design and implement REST/GraphQL APIs, database schemas, and state-machine engines using Node.js (TypeScript) and PostgreSQL.
Frontend Development: Build responsive, high-performance web/mobile user interfaces (React / React Native or Next.js).
System Integration: Integrate third-party APIs (authentication, calendar synchronization, messaging webhooks, and payments).
Security & Compliance: Write clean, modular, and well-tested code following security best practices (RBAC, encryption at rest/in transit, and audit logging).
Repository Hygiene: Maintain clean git workflows, architectural documentation, and unit/integration testing.
Required Qualifications:
5+ Years Experience: Proven track record in full-stack web and mobile application development.
Core Tech Stack:
Backend: Node.js / TypeScript, Express / NestJS, or Python / Fast API.
Database: Relational databases (PostgreSQL, Supabase) with complex schema design and Row-Level Security (RLS).
Frontend: React, Next.js, or React Native.
State Machines & Workflows: Experience building deterministic workflows, state machine logic, or task queues.
API & Security: Strong understanding of OAuth2, JWTs, RBAC, and webhook integrations.
Communication: Clear async communication, comfortable reading architecture specifications, and self-directed.
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience in Healthcare / MedTech (HIPAA compliance, EHR integrations, or medical workflows).
Familiarity with cryptographic hashing (SHA-256), immutable audit logs, or patent-backed system implementations.
Experience with cloud serverless infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Vercel/Supabase).
Scope & Engagement:
Type: Independent Contractor (Part-Time or Full-Time depending on fit)
Location: Remote (Worldwide)
Hours: ~15–20 hours/week (Initial 3-month milestone with potential for long-term retainer)
To Apply:
Please submit your application with:
A brief summary of your technical background.
2–3 links to recent projects, web/mobile apps, or public GitHub repositories you've architected.
Your hourly rate or monthly availability.
