I need an experienced HVAC project manager who can take a brand-new commercial installation from concept all the way through commissioning. The job covers everything: defining system requirements with my architectural team, selecting the most suitable equipment, drafting the schedule, coordinating trades, tracking procurement and submittals, and keeping on-site activities in line with safety and code.

Because this is full project management, you’ll own the critical path—organising design reviews, leading weekly progress meetings, and issuing clear look-ahead reports so the client and contractors stay aligned. The target building is a mid-size commercial facility, so familiarity with larger-tonnage rooftop units, VAV distribution, and modern BMS integration is essential.

Key deliverables:
• Complete project plan with timeline, milestones, and risk register
• Approved equipment submittals and procurement tracking log
• Weekly site reports and updated Gantt schedule
• Final commissioning documentation and punch-list sign-off

I work in Revit and MS Project, so being comfortable in those tools is a plus; however, if you typically manage with Primavera or similar software, I’m open as long as updates remain clear and shareable. Code compliance, especially local energy efficiency standards and ASHRAE guidelines, must be factored into every stage.

If you have a solid track record taking commercial HVAC installs from empty shell to hand-over—and the communication skills to keep owners, engineers, and trades in sync—let’s talk timelines.
