Full-Scale Accounting Software Development

I’m developing an end-to-end financial accounting application that ties routine bookkeeping to the realities of day-to-day operations on the shop floor. The system must record and report on every stage of the money flow—from the moment raw material is purchased through production and, finally, client invoicing and payment collection.

Scope of work
You’ll architect, build, and deliver a secure, multi-user desktop or web application (I’m flexible on the stack as long as it is well-documented and future-proof). The interface should be intuitive enough for non-technical staff yet robust enough to satisfy an external auditor. Automatic posting between sub-ledgers and the general ledger is a must, as are drill-down reports and export options to Excel/CSV.

Deliverables
1. Functional application covering the transaction types and modules listed above
2. Source code with clear inline comments and a setup guide
3. Database schema and migration scripts
4. User and admin manuals
5. A short hand-over session to walk me through deployment and daily use

Acceptance criteria
• All listed transactions post correctly to the general ledger without manual intervention
• Trial balance, P&L, and balance-sheet reports reconcile with sample data provided during testing
• Role-based access control prevents unauthorized entries or edits
• Error handling and audit logs capture every financial change for compliance purposes
