The new site must mirror the reference WordPress website exactly—visual design, page structure, navigation flow, and every piece of user-facing functionality. I want visitors to feel no difference when they move between the two sites, whether they are browsing content, submitting a form, signing in to their account area, or completing a purchase.
Scope of work
• Reproduce all templates, UI components, and styling so the look, feel, and overall user experience stay consistent with the source.
• Re-create every page and feature: marketing pages, blogs, product listings, checkout, dashboards, contact forms—everything on the original site comes across intact.
• Implement the same user journey: read-only visitors, registered users who can manage their details, and shoppers who can buy products or services online.
• Copy or lightly adapt all written content, images, and product data from the source site, adjusting only where brand guidelines or licensing require.
• Build on the latest stable WordPress release, using the plugins or custom code necessary (e.g., WooCommerce for e-commerce, secure form plugins for submissions).
• Optimise for speed, mobile responsiveness, and basic on-page SEO, then test across modern browsers before hand-over.
Acceptance criteria
1. Every page and interactive element available on the reference site is present and working on the new domain.
2. Design matches the reference site pixel-for-pixel on standard desktop and mobile breakpoints.
3. Users can register, log in, edit their profile, add products to cart, and complete payment without errors.
4. All copied content is displayed correctly and passes a final review for accuracy.
5. Site achieves minimum scores of 90/90 on Google Lighthouse performance and accessibility tests.
Once approved, migrate the finished build to my live server and provide a short hand-over document outlining theme, plugin, and custom code versions.
