Fruit Harvest & Packing Crew

Harvest season is fast approaching on my mixed-produce farm and I need a dependable crew that can step in for the full cycle: moving row-to-row, picking ripe fruits and vegetables by hand, then transferring the day’s haul straight to our shed for on-site sorting and packing.

The job is entirely field-based, so your team should be comfortable working outdoors for extended hours, able to judge ripeness at a glance, and experienced in gentle handling to minimise bruising. Once the crates reach the shed you will grade, sort, and pack to the specs I provide (size, colour, and quality classes are already defined). All packing materials and grading tables are on site; bring your own picking bags, knives, and protective gear.

I’ll confirm daily targets before each shift and sign off when the sorted cartons are stacked and labelled—this serves as the acceptance criteria for payment. If you have previous experience with commercial fruit or vegetable harvests and can mobilise a crew quickly, let’s talk dates and logistics so we’re ready the moment the crop peaks.
