Residential Floor Plan Review – Western Perspective (Architecture Student / Grad)
Project Description:
Looking for a senior architecture student, architectural science student, or recent graduate to provide a fresh design review of completed residential architectural plans.
Context: The project is located in Africa (main floor partially built), and I reside in Canada. I am not looking for a brand-new design, but rather an independent assessment from a contemporary Western design perspective (North American / European trends).
Scope of Work:
Review existing floor plans and elevations for spatial flow, room adjacencies, and layout efficiency.
Identify opportunities to improve natural light, cross-ventilation, and living comfort.
Provide constructive feedback on curb appeal and exterior aesthetics.
Recommend practical enhancements respecting existing structural constraints.
Deliverables:
Written feedback report detailing key observations and layout suggestions.
Marked-up drawings/redlines (visual overlay on original plans).
Optional short virtual meeting to walk through feedback.
