I have a 224-page illustrated PDF (about 9 700 words) made up of chore charts, dresser and toy-bin labels that was auto-translated from English into French. I now need a native speaker to make it genuinely useful for French-speaking children and their families.

Here’s what matters most to me: every phrase must sound natural, age-appropriate and culturally on point. While doing that, please correct any spelling, grammar, gender or article issues, keep terminology consistent and, wherever a shorter or clearer wording would help kids (or parents) understand faster, feel free to propose it. I prefer a balanced tone—a mix of everyday French and an occasional, slightly more formal term when it feels right.

Practical points
• Images and overall design stay exactly as they are.
• If text overflows, is cut off or looks misaligned, flag it.
• Your corrections should be delivered by directly annotating the PDF. If a note by page number ever proves easier for a tricky spot, that’s fine too, but markup inside the file is my main request.

Deliverable
An annotated PDF with every change or suggestion clearly visible so I can accept and implement them without guessing.

If this sounds straightforward and enjoyable, let’s get started right away.
