About the Role

Castle Chess Academy is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Freelance Video Editor to produce engaging, high-quality content for our digital platforms. The ideal candidate should be passionate about storytelling, understand social media trends, and be able to transform raw footage into compelling videos that connect with parents and children while maintaining our brand identity.

Key Responsibilities

Transform raw footage to engaging reels, Shorts, long-form videos with strong storytelling, pacing, and audience retention.
Add dynamic cuts, transitions, motion graphics, text animations, captions, subtitles, sound effects, and background music as required.
Perform color correction, color grading, and audio enhancement.
Create relevant video thumbnails.
Optimize videos for different social media channels.
Organize project files and deliver content within deadlines.
Collaborate with the marketing team.

Required Skills

Proficiency in professional video editing software.
Experience editing short-form, long-form, and podcast videos.
Strong understanding of storytelling, editing rhythm, and audience retention.
Knowledge of motion graphics, typography, color theory and social media editing styles.
