You’ll be covering national and international politics for my digital publication, pitching original story ideas and turning them into well-sourced articles ready for online release. I’m flexible on format—straight news, analytical features, or interview-driven pieces are all welcome—as long as each story lands with clear facts, balanced perspective, and a compelling narrative that holds readers’ attention.

Source verification is non-negotiable: every statistic, quote, or claim should be backed by primary documents, accredited experts, or on-the-record interviews. I work on tight news cycles, so dependable turnaround and responsiveness to edits are essential.

Deliverables for the first month
• Two publish-ready political articles per week (800–1,200 words each)
• Headlines, subheads, and meta descriptions optimized for web
• A brief list of sources with hyperlinks or citations for each piece

Articles are submitted in Google Docs, with revisions handled through tracked changes. Please mention any previous political beats, languages you speak, and the time zone you’ll be working from when you reply.
