We are seeking an experienced Framer designer and developer to design and build a modern, high-quality website for an established children’s technology education business.
We operate multiple learning centres and partnered schools. Our programmes include coding, artificial intelligence, robotics, game development, engineering and holiday camps.
This is not a template-customisation project. We are looking for a thoughtful designer who can translate our brand direction into a distinctive, polished and conversion-focused website.
What we want
The website should feel:
* Modern, intelligent and imaginative
* Credible to parents while remaining engaging for children
* Warm and human, rather than overly corporate or childish
* Visually distinctive within the education and similar category
* Easy to navigate, particularly on mobile
* Refined through subtle animation of our mascot, microinteractions and thoughtful transitions
Framer is our preferred platform.
## Indicative scope
The website will include approximately 10 to 15 core page templates, including:
* Homepage
* Programmes
* Individual programme pages
* Holiday camps
* Lane Cove location
* Rouse Hill location
* Partnered schools directory
* Individual school pages
* About
* Contact and enquiry forms
* Supporting information pages
The site should use CMS collections where appropriate for programmes, camps, locations, partnered schools, school classes and related content.
Parents must be able to:
* Find the most suitable programme for their child
* Browse classes by centre or partnered school
* View school-specific class information
* Register their child through the appropriate booking pathway
* Submit enquiries that are captured correctly in our CRM
* Move easily between programme, location and registration pages
## Technical requirements
The project will include:
* Responsive Framer design and development
* CMS architecture and setup
* External booking or registration integration
* CRM integration for lead capture, source attribution, tagging and follow-up workflows
* Forms with appropriate routing and notifications
* Google Analytics 4 and conversion tracking
* Meta Pixel integration
* Foundational on-page SEO
* Redirect setup where required
* Accessibility-conscious interaction design
* Reduced-motion support
* Strong mobile performance
* Cross-browser and device testing
Animations should support the experience without slowing the site down or distracting users. We value considered microinteractions over excessive visual effects.
## What we will provide
We will provide the shortlisted freelancer with:
* A detailed project brief and sitemap
* Approved brand strategy and positioning
* Preliminary colour and typography direction
* Draft website content
* Programme, location and school information
* Existing photography and available visual assets
* Access to the relevant booking, CRM and analytics platforms
Logo design is not included in this project. The final logo and identity assets will be supplied separately.
## Expected deliverables
* UX and visual design
* Responsive Framer build
* Reusable design system and components
* CMS setup and content population
* Booking and CRM integrations
* Analytics and conversion tracking
* Technical and responsive quality assurance
* Basic editor training
* Complete transfer of the project and ownership
* Short post-launch support period
## Who we are looking for
You should have:
* A strong portfolio of polished, modern Framer websites
* Excellent UX and visual design skills
* Demonstrated experience with animation and micro interactions
* Experience building scalable CMS structures
* Experience integrating forms, booking platforms and CRMs
* A strong understanding of mobile conversion and performance
* Clear communication and a structured project process
Experience designing for education, children, families or multi-location businesses is helpful, but strong design judgment is more important.
## How to apply
Please include:
1. Three relevant live websites you personally designed and built
2. Your recommended process and estimated timeframe
3. Your indicative fixed project fee
4. How you approach animation without compromising usability or performance
5. Confirmation that you can provide editable source files, full ownership transfer and post-launch support
A more detailed brief will be shared with shortlisted applicants before the final proposal and engagement.
