I manage a growing library of technical documentation, user guides, and business-facing manuals, all produced in Adobe FrameMaker. The job is to take ownership of these files—creating new documents when specifications change, re-formatting and editing legacy material, and policing consistency so every page aligns with our corporate template.

Your day-to-day work will revolve around FrameMaker’s advanced features: applying and refining templates and paragraph/character styles, building complex tables and anchored images, inserting rock-solid cross-references, keeping pagination stable, and embedding headers, footers, and auto-generated TOCs or indexes. Each assignment finishes with a clean, press-ready PDF plus the fully packaged .fm/.book source.

Collaboration happens directly with our engineers and product managers; you’ll receive raw text, change logs, and screenshots, then return polished files that meet our branding and accessibility standards. Turnarounds are firm, so an organised workflow and version control habits are essential.

Deliverables for every release:
• Updated or newly created FrameMaker source files that compile without errors
• Consistent styling across chapters and book files
• Functional cross-references, tables, images, headers/footers, and page numbers
• Final PDF exported at the required resolution

A document is accepted once it visually matches the template, shows zero missing fonts or unresolved links, paginates predictably, and passes our internal PDF check. If that aligns with your expertise in Adobe FrameMaker, I’m ready to assign the first set of manuals immediately.
