Founding Network & AI Architect

I’m laying the groundwork for REIN’s next-generation network-plus-AI platform here in Durban and want a partner who can sit at the same table as the rest of the founding team, not just ship a one-off task.

The immediate focus is threefold:

• Network design – choose and justify topologies, vendors, and automation tooling for a scalable, low-latency backbone that can stretch from on-prem PoPs to public cloud.
• Security protocols – build a zero-trust model from day one, including segmentation, key-management strategy, and compliance mapping.
• AI integration & platform architecture – define how our inference services, data pipelines, and control plane ride on top of the network, and how we monitor them end-to-end.

I’m expecting tangible deliverables: diagrams, bill-of-materials, reference configs, and a phased rollout roadmap we can execute against together. Bring deep hands-on knowledge of routing, switching, SDN, Kubernetes, Terraform/Ansible, plus comfort threading AI services (LLMs, vector DBs, GPU clusters) through that stack.
