I have a batch of scanned PDF forms that record financial data—think invoices, receipts, and similar documents. I need every relevant figure lifted out, cleaned up with reliable OCR, and placed into a single Excel workbook.
Key requirements
• Only the financial fields on each form matter; ignore any personal details or decorative text.
• In the spreadsheet, each row should represent one transaction and the columns must be grouped by transaction type (e.g., income, expense, refund).
A clear, human-readable layout is critical because the file will feed straight into an internal dashboard. Feel free to use any robust OCR workflow you trust—Tesseract, Adobe, or a Python script are all fine—as long as the final sheet arrives accurate and ready to filter.
