Food Safety Inspection App Development

I run several food-service sites and I’m ready to move all of our paper-based safety audits into a dedicated mobile app that works on both iOS and Android. The heart of the project is a set of smart, easy-to-update inspection checklists that staff complete during shifts. As soon as a checklist is submitted, the data should sync to the cloud and feed a reporting & analytics dashboard so managers can spot trends, flag recurring issues, and export summaries in PDF or CSV.

Core requirements
• Cross-platform build (iOS & Android) from a single codebase—React Native or Flutter is fine as long as performance is crisp.
• Dynamic checklist engine: create, edit, and reorder questions without an app store resubmission.
• Offline mode with automatic sync once connectivity is restored.
• Secure sign-in tied to individual sites or roles.
• Reporting & analytics: visual dashboards, filterable logs, and downloadable reports.

Nice-to-have (not essential for first release but we may add later)
• Real-time notifications when a critical item fails an inspection.
• Granular user management to control who sees what.

Acceptance criteria
1. The same build passes App Store and Play Store review.
2. Completing a full checklist on a test device and syncing to the dashboard takes under 30 seconds on a 4G connection.
3. Dashboard exports match the on-device entries exactly, with timestamp and user ID.
