Food Delivery App Architecture Consultant

I’m preparing to launch a new food-delivery service and want the technical foundation nailed down before coding begins. The first release will run on Android, so every architectural decision must follow proven Android best practices while remaining flexible for a future iOS build.

Scope of work
• Analyse my functional requirements and any sketches or wireframes already prepared.
• Design a scalable, fault-tolerant architecture covering: backend services, API strategy, database schema for restaurants, menus, orders, couriers and real-time status updates, as well as caching and push-notification flows.
• Recommend the full technology stack—languages, frameworks (e.g., Kotlin, Jetpack, Firebase, AWS, GCP or Azure, Docker/Kubernetes, etc.)—with clear reasoning behind each choice.
• Address security, data privacy, payment compliance (PCI-DSS) and monitoring considerations.
• Deliverables: an architecture deck (PDF or Markdown), clear component diagrams (UML/C4), and a phased implementation roadmap. A hand-off call to walk through the solution will finalise acceptance.

With this blueprint in hand I’ll be confident the development team can move quickly without costly rebuilds down the line.
