I have the concept, wireframes, and an initial style guide ready; now I need a full-stack developer who can transform them into a production-ready mobile application built with Flutter on the front end and FastAPI on the back end.
Core feature set
• Every user should be able to create rich pet profiles that store photos, breed info, vaccination dates, and other medical records.
• A robust appointment scheduler must let pet owners pick time slots, confirm, reschedule, or cancel directly in-app and receive push/email reminders.
• Integrated search will allow owners to find nearby groomers, vets, and sitters, view ratings and written reviews, and book them instantly.
Account structure & roles
Secure authentication is required. We’ll need at least two clearly separated roles—pet owners and service providers—with the usual flows for sign-up, login, password reset, and social login (Google/Apple) if you’re comfortable adding them. Owners should only manage their own pets and bookings, while providers can manage availability, pricing, and see their incoming appointments.
Tech expectations
• Flutter (null-safety, latest stable channel) with clean architecture and state management of your choice (Provider, Riverpod, or Bloc—explain your pick).
• FastAPI for all REST endpoints, JWT-based auth, and async SQLAlchemy (or comparable ORM) connected to PostgreSQL.
• CI/CD: GitHub Actions or GitLab CI to run tests and generate APK/IPA artifacts.
• Basic admin interface—FastAPI Admin, Django-admin hybrid, or a simple React dashboard—to view users, pets, and bookings will be a plus.
Deliverables
1. Complete Flutter project with well-documented code and unit/widget tests.
2. FastAPI backend, tests, requirements.txt/pyproject.toml, and OpenAPI schema auto-generated.
3. Postman or Insomnia collection demonstrating each endpoint.
4. One-click deployment instructions for a Docker-based setup (backend + Postgres) and a guide for publishing the mobile app to TestFlight/Google Play Internal Testing.
5. README covering environment variables, migration steps, and how to run the test suite.
Acceptance criteria
– User can register as owner or provider, log in, and stay authenticated via refresh tokens.
– Owner can create a pet profile, upload a PDF vaccination record, and see it listed.
– Owner can search for providers within 10 km, view ratings, and book a slot; provider sees the new booking appear instantly (WebSocket or long-poll is fine).
– All endpoints return ≤200 ms locally and are protected against common OWASP vulnerabilities.
– All code passes the provided test suites and lints with no critical warnings.
Timeline is flexible within reason, but please share realistic milestones. Looking forward to collaborating and seeing your past Flutter/FastAPI work!
